Bernadette Seacrest & Her Yes Men have created a sound rich with atmosphere. They conjure a cinematic film noir sound; transporting the listener to a nightclub inhabited by mysterious characters. You’re tantalized while sensing the possibility of danger. . . but you can’t resist. Bernadette’s voice is smooth, strong, and ultimately seductive. As with any fine musical collaboration, the CD is truly rewarding to listen to, but the live performances are an immeasurably superior experience.
